Make your clothes go around again with our Take Back Box! Cleaning out your closet and want to ensure your family's old clothes don't end up in landfill?
We'll take your 100% natural fibre textiles (any brand) and make sure they're included in our textile recycling initiative. Fill your box, book the courier (or drop the box off to us), and job done!
Please ensure the products are washed. No undergarments.
How to use your take back box:
1. Fill - Fill your box with preloved clothing, sheets and towels. Please make sure your items are clean, dry and 100% natural fibres. This box should hold approximately 12-13 kgs of textiles.
2. Return - When you are ready send this back to us (or drop the box off to us if you're local). Please note we don't cover the courier cost of these boxes.
3. Recycle - We take your clothes and turn them into new ones, through our fibre-to-fibre recycling programme. Learn more about closing the loop and our circularity process here.
4. Repeat - Grab another box, fill it up again and repeat the process, you are doing something great every time you do!
Yes please: 100% cotton, merino, wool, linen, hemp, silk. This includes natural fibre blends (no synthetic blends please). Yes, you can include sheets, tea towels, and towels.
No thanks: Plastic synthetics (polyester, nylon, spandex, viscose, acrylic). Duvets, mattresses, carpets, socks, undergarments, shoes.
Dimensions: 1 Take Back Box measures 40 x 40 x 60 cm and fits approximately 12-13kg of textiles.

If your products are end of life we appreciate it if you can remove buttons, zips, and elastics prior to sending, however, if you're not sure send them as is and we will take care of it.
All of our orders are shipped in plastic free packaging.
We have free global shipping for all orders over $100. For orders under $100 the following rates apply.

All of our products can be machine washed. We recommend a cold wash and line dry for minimal environmental impact.
All our products are free to return at the end of their usable life. We also accept 100% cotton from any brand to be included in our fibre-to-fibre textile recycling program. You can learn more here.

I think this Textile Take Back Programme is a GREAT initiative! I'm SO GLAD I learnt about it several years ago - we saw something on TV - a 'Sunday' feature, think. Anyway. glad I remembered and that 'Little Yellow Bird' was easy enough to Google-track down. Thanks to ALL involved! LOVE your work!!

Loved the bag. So easy! Just put old natural fibres in it, close the bag, add the courier sticker and call the courier and it’s done!
